Role & Responsibility:
Business Development and Lead Generation
- Conduct and report the minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum % of those into revenue generating business.
- Promote the services offered by the Company – Land, Sea & Air Forwarding.
- Provide Market Information and Feedback on Competition.
Sales Objectives
- Secure new customers and maintain & develop existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed target set on Gross revenue and gross profit.
- Payments Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Debt Collector.
Customer Relationship and Key Account Management
- Follow up on Leads and quoted business.
- Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations on the execution of customer service contracts.
- Manage existing accounts of the company.
Reports
- Maintain records of customer details/sales visits in the CRM.
- Identify potential customers and register opportunities in CRM.
- Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams
Policies and Procedures
- To follow internal policies and procedures for the department which protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Due follow-up for technical and commercial presentations with potentials.
- Stand in for the Manager during Holidays / Sickness as required.
Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years Sales Experience in freight forwarding/ sales
- Logistics Sales and meeting the targets set by the management
Land, Sea and Air - Freight Forwarding – through thorough client management
- Job Costing proficiency
